Amzon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment
Amazon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment is Amazon's invite-only platform for first-party (1P) vendors – brands and manufacturers that sell products wholesale to Amazon. Through the Vendor Direct Fulfillment (VDF) program, Amazon issues purchase orders that vendors fulfill and ship directly to end customers.
Hopstack's integration with Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment automates the entire vendor fulfillment workflow – from receiving purchase orders to generating shipping labels and updating tracking information – so your warehouse team can focus on picking, packing, and shipping instead of toggling between systems.
Who Should Use This Integration?
- Amazon 1P Vendors: Brands and manufacturers selling wholesale to Amazon who need to fulfill Vendor Direct Fulfillment orders efficiently from their own warehouses.
- 3PLs Serving Amazon Vendors: Third-party logistics providers who handle fulfillment on behalf of Amazon Vendor clients and need per-client, per-warehouse isolation with separate credentials.
- Multi-Warehouse Vendors: Vendors operating multiple fulfillment centers who want Amazon orders to automatically route to the correct warehouse without manual sorting.
- Global Vendors: Vendors selling across North America and Europe Amazon marketplaces who want centralized order management from a single Hopstack instance.

Key Features
Automated Purchase Order Sync
- Hands-Free Order Import: Purchase orders from Amazon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment are automatically imported into Hopstack at regular intervals – no manual downloads, CSV uploads, or Vendor Central logins required.
- Smart Duplicate Prevention: Orders that have already been imported are automatically skipped, so your team never processes the same order twice.
- Status-Based Filtering: Choose which orders to import based on their Amazon status – new, shipped, accepted, or cancelled – giving you full control over what enters the fulfillment pipeline.
- Order Acknowledgment & Rejection: Accept or reject incoming purchase orders directly through Hopstack. Acknowledgment status is automatically communicated back to Amazon, keeping both systems in sync.
Automated Shipping Label & Tracking
- One-Click Label Generation: Shipping labels are automatically requested from Amazon as soon as orders are created in Hopstack. Labels are retrieved, stored, and ready for your packing team – no manual steps.
- Tracking Number Sync: Carrier details and tracking numbers are written back to the order record as soon as the label is generated, giving your team instant shipment visibility.
- Label Download at Packing: Warehouse associates can download and print shipping labels directly from Hopstack's packing screen – eliminating the need to access Amazon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment.
- Built-In Retry Logic: If Amazon's system is temporarily slow to generate a label, Hopstack automatically retries until the label is ready. No manual follow-up needed.
Multi-Warehouse & Multi-Region Support
- Per-Warehouse Setup: Each fulfillment location is configured with its own Amazon warehouse identifier. Amazon routes orders to specific warehouses, and Hopstack ensures each warehouse only sees the orders meant for it.
- Global Region Coverage: Supports North America and Europe Amazon regions, each with its own credentials and endpoint. Manage all regions from one Hopstack dashboard.
- 3PL Multi-Client Isolation: Each vendor client can be set up as an independent integration, keeping credentials, orders, and operations cleanly separated.
Warehouse Fulfillment Workflow
- Instant Warehouse Readiness: Imported orders are immediately available for batching, picking, and packing within Hopstack's standard fulfillment workflows.
- Product Catalog Mapping: Amazon product SKUs are mapped to your Hopstack product catalog during setup, ensuring every incoming order line item matches the correct warehouse product.
- End-to-End Visibility: Track every order from arrival through picking, packing, label generation, and dispatch from a single dashboard.
How It Works
The integration connects Hopstack to Amazon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment and automates the full order-to-ship cycle.
- Amazon issues a purchase order to your Vendor Central account and routes it to the appropriate warehouse.
- Hopstack automatically picks it up and creates the order with line items, quantities, and shipping address.
- A shipping label is generated by Amazon and automatically retrieved by Hopstack. The label and tracking number are attached to the order.
- Your warehouse team fulfills the order using Hopstack’s pick-pack-ship workflow, prints the label, and dispatches the package.
- For multi-warehouse setups, each location only sees the orders Amazon has assigned to it.
What Data Gets Synced
- Purchase Orders: Order number, order date, status, and line items including SKU, quantity, and unit price.
- Shipping Address: End customer delivery address for each direct fulfillment order.
- Shipping Labels: Amazon-generated shipping labels with carrier name, method, and tracking number.
- Tracking Information: Carrier tracking numbers automatically attached to the order record.
- Order Acknowledgment: Accept or reject status communicated back to Amazon.

- One integration is required per warehouse.
- Each Amazon region requires a separate configuration.
- Shipping labels may take a short time to generate; Hopstack retries automatically.
- Product catalog must be set up before activating the integration.
- API credentials can expire and should be monitored.
- Always test in the sandbox before going live.
